According to contributor Liza Michaelson, close to 1,000 participants marched in the Friday Harbor Women’s March on Jan. 20.
Organizers said that the protest was against the current presidential administration. It also supported “human rights, women’s rights, voting rights, civil rights, social justice, racial equality, environmental rights, disability rights, LGBT rights, reproductive rights, indigenous people’s rights, immigration rights, health rights, and veterans’ rights.”
