At 2 p.m., Sunday, June 4 watch the 21st consecutive Barbershop Bonanza at the San Juan Community Theatre. This event will feature contemporary music. Savor tunes from The Beatles, John Denver, Queen, and country favorites.

The event will feature Island Chordsmen Plus, where the “plus” signifies a mixed chorus of men and women, and Sound Vibrations, which is the all-women A Cappella chorus. Leading both groups is renowned Angel Michaels, who also directs the San Juan Singers, gives private voice lessons, and owns and operates San Juan Pasta.

A new local quartet called Three Grandpas and a Tenor will join. The visiting group is an award-winning quartet from Oregon called Over Time.
