Heather Christensen, 45 and a healthcare provider, has filed for San Juan Island School Board of Directors position one.

Christensen, the mother of two school-aged children, is married, lives with her husband and two dogs in Friday Harbor.

She holds a degree in Masters of Science Physician Assistant Studies, from Idaho State University. She graduated Suma Cum Laude from that program.
