Paideia Classical School

Paideia will offer full-day kindergarten in the 2017-18 school year. Open enrollment begins March 1. Space is available in first- through eighth-grade, too. Contact paideiaschool@centurytel.net or 378-8322 for information.

FH Elementary School

FHES kindergarten registration will be on March 14-15. Children must be 5 years old on or before August 31, 2017. Call the school at 378-5209 to schedule an appointment. Bring children’s immunization records and birth certificates. The following immunizations must be current:

• Five doses of DTaP/Td, DT, Tdap vaccine; four doses are acceptable if the fourth is given on or after the fourth birthday

• Four doses of polio vaccine; three doses are acceptable if the third dose is given on or after the fourth birthday

• Two doses of measles, mumps and rubella vaccine on or after the first birthday

• Three doses of hepatitis B vaccine, with dose three given on or after 24 weeks of age; if dose three is given before 24 weeks, a fourth dose is needed

• Two doses of varicella vaccine or date of disease verified by health care provider; the minimum age for dose one is 1-year-old

Lighthouse Preschool

Lighthouse Preschool will hold an open house from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., March 10 at the Friday Harbor Presbyterian Church on Spring Street. Visit classrooms, meet teachers, learn about curriculum, and enter to win half-off first month’s tuition. Enrollment begins March 13.
