Join celebrated historian Mike Vouri on the next Know Your Island Walk from 1-4 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 25. The walk encompasses several trails and stories, from the First Nations and American Indians to the Royal Marines and U.S. and British settlers — with a little nature too.

Vouri was the chief of interpretation and historian for San Juan Island National Historical Park for more than 14 years. He directed visitor services for the park. This includes historical research, program development, interpretive publications and wayside exhibits, living history and community affairs.

Meet for this historical hike and talk at the English Camp parking lot; dogs on leashes okay.
