Happy birthday! The Friday Harbor Kiwanis Club members celebrated the club’s 30th anniversary at a recent meeting. Nancy Fusare, club secretary, presented the birthday cake to club president Vicky Thalacker and the members present. The Friday Harbor Kiwanis Club members put more than $10,000 a year back into the local economy through their toy drive, annual scholarships and support of Island Rec, other local organizations and local children through various events. Friday Harbor Kiwanis meets at noon, the first and third Thursday of the month at the Harbor House. Kiwanis is an organization of volunteers dedicated to improving the world one child and one community at a time. Join us!
