The men in the firefighter recruit class are nearing the end of the instruction period. The class started in September, with each working hard all the way through. The recruits will take the final written and practical exams in the very near future.

Each one is a resident of San Juan Island and are from all walks of life. They all have one goal in common: to protect life and property. Good luck to them all during the last weeks of training. We hope to see their smiling faces under yellow helmets in the future.

San Juan Island Fire and Rescue welcomes all interested men and women ages 16 years and above to drop by the Mullis Street Station and make an appointment to learn what we are all about.
