The family of Lynn Ellen Cannam Loring wishes to inform the community of her passing and to announce the date of her internment at Valley Cemetery.

Lynn was born on March 5, 1938 to Dorothy Trivett Cannam and Burr Cannam. She attended school and college in Eureka California. Her first husband was Douglas Johnson, and had Lisa Marlene in Dec. 1959. After her divorce in 1963, she moved to Friday Harbor where her parents and Lisa were living on the family farm on Rosler Ln. She met and married Roger Sandwith Loring the summer of 1964. They had 50 years together before he passed away July 2015. After a three year bout with cancer, Lynn passed away March 9, 2016. She leaves behind her daughter Lisa Johnson of Friday Harbor, and her younger siblings Kathleen Berry of California and Bill Cannam of Idaho. Her interment at Valley Cemetery will be August 10, at 3 p.m. to be followed by a BBQ potluck and get together at Jackson’s beach. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Animal Protection Society of Friday Harbor, Wolf Hollow Animal Rehab Center, San Juan Historical Society, and to the research of any cancer, and the American Legion.
