On Saturday, March 12 Madi Kincaid and Allie Galt had the opportunity to play in the All State Volleyball tournament which was held at Auburn-Riverside High School. They were selected from players all over the state as the best of the best in their respective sport to participate in this tournament.

They were on a 9 girl team that was comprised of girls from all over the state. They were both instrumental in their team’s victory. Madi was able to run the setting position with command and pick up right where she left off from the state tournament and find not only Allie Galt but many others she has never played with, for some great assists for kills. Allie played very well also and had some very timely blocks and great kills shots along the way that helped there team to a 5 set victory over a team that was heavily dominated by Friday Harbor’s Nemesis, La Conner.

It was a great weekend for a volleyball tournament and these girls had great success and represented Friday Harbor very well at the highest level of their sport. I would like to congratulate these two girls on their accomplishments along with the rest of the Lady Wolverine Volleyballers. If it wasn’t for you, these girls’ successes would have never been possible. Your never ending support and contribution to the team was tremendous and this is just as much a TEAM celebration and accomplishment as it is an individual.
