Supports Island Rec levy and county Proposition 1: ‘Directly affecting the quality of life which we value’

I strongly support both the San Juan County Proposition 1 levy and the Island Rec levy. As islanders, we share laughter, as well as arguments, but we all care deeply about each other and our islands. I feel both these levies represent a broad consensus to support our children, youth, senior citizens and other programs which directly affect the quality of life which we value.

I strongly support both the San Juan County Proposition 1 levy and the Island Rec levy.

As islanders, we share laughter, as well as arguments, but we all care deeply about each other and our islands. I feel both these levies represent a broad consensus to support our children, youth, senior citizens and other programs which directly affect the quality of life which we value.

In difficult economic times, it is especially important for our government to provide services for our community. It is also important to realize that approval of both levies will result in LOWER property taxes, since the San Juan Island School District Construction Bond levy ends in December.

Vote “yes” for Proposition 1 and the Island Rec levy.
