The Friday Harbor Wolverines broke a two-game losing streak — and how — Tuesday, handily defeating North Sound Christian 6-0, Tuesday at North Sound Christian.
Senior Whitney Porter scored four goals and had one assist.
The Wolverines improved to 1-2. They travel to South Whidbey today and to Orcas on Sept. 23.
At North Sound Christian, the Wolverines led 3-0 at the half and never let up.
In the first half, Porter scored on a Shelby Ness assist, then followed up with an unassisted goal. Mandy Turnbull scored goal No. 3 with an assist from Elle Guard.
In the second half, Porter scored an unassisted goal, assisted on a Lola Elford goal, then scored again on an assist from Hannah Snow.
