Gretchen Allison, coordinator of the Art of Protest exhibit that took place in May at the Alchemy Arts Center on Wold Road, gathered approximately 10 people on Friday evening at the San Juan County Fair. Protesters stood for an hour vigil in front of the Republican booth to protest the large Trump cardboard cutout that was prominently on display.

“Nothing negative please,” Allison wrote on her Facebook invitation, “Just express solidarity of what we love and what we want to protect.”
