Artist Talk at San Juan Islands Museum of Art, ‘OctoEyes, Reverie: Myxogastria’

Submitted by the San Juan Islands Museum of Art

Join artist Ron L Smith II, aka OctoEyes, in the Atrium at San Juan Islands Museum of Art on May 4 at 1 pm as he discusses his current exhibition Reverie: Myxogastria. You have seen the work in person or through the Atrium windows while passing on Spring Street. Now join OctoEyes to see the work through his lens, as you become tiny and descend to the forest floor to explore the microcosmic world of myxogastria (slime mold). OctoEyes shares a bit about the work at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=axRn3tD2NTw on the museum’s YT channel. Come on Saturday for more.

Location: 540 Spring Street, Friday Harbor, WA 98250.
