After attending the Feb. 22 meeting of the board of commissioners of San Juan County Public Hospital District No. 1, at which 80-100 of us listened to the anti-choice rhetoric of two of its three male commissioners, I propose that the same board consider adopting the following resolution at its next meeting: “All male commissioners of SJCPHD #1 are hereby prohibited from discussing, deliberating and voting on any resolution that in any way deals with the reproductive rights and sexual health of women.”

I will be proposing the same language to the U.S. Congress to prohibit its angry old men from doing the same.
