Every third Thursday and Friday of the month, our volunteer group “Trashmasters” picks up litter along Roche Harbor Road and West Valley Road down to English Camp. Speaking on behalf of our members, we really appreciate it when drivers slow and cautiously pass us along the roadway. It’s a little scary out there, especially in the narrow sections. We also appreciate it when smokers use their ashtrays. The number one item I find on the roadway is cigarette butts. Fire season is coming. Let’s all work cooperatively to keep our island safe and beautiful.
